The Nürburgring will once again be exhibiting at the Essen Motor Show this year. Visitors to the automobile and tuning trade fair can look forward to a large stand dedicated to the Nürburgring as a destination. Until December 10, fans can expect attractive vehicles from the Nürburgring world, simulators from the Nürburgring eSports Bar, a small ring°fanshop, a linger area in the style of the Nürburgring Ferienpark managed by Lindner, competitions and the traditional presentation of the event calendar for 2024 in Hall 3 at Stand 3A26.
The exhibition area of the Nürburgring at the Essen Motor Show 2023 covers 280 square meters and is peppered with numerous exhibits and hands-on activities of Destination Nürburgring: For example, visitors can enter a high-tech simulator of the Nürburgring eSports Bar and take a few laps in a virtual racing car, dust off T-shirts and hoodies at special conditions, win great prizes in the Ring's estimation game or find their personal dream job in the Green Hell at the Job Pitstop. This year, too, the Nürburgring will be presenting its entire range of diverse topics at the Essen Motor Show. Whether the 2024 events, tourist drives or record-breaking drives, accommodation offers from the Nürburgring Ferienpark managed by Lindner or the offers from the Nürburgring eSports Bar and nuerburgring.tv. In keeping with tradition, the Ring will also be presenting its event calendar for 2024 at the trade fair this year and distributing it to all fans as a practical wall calendar.
Vehicles from tourist drives to Nordschleife record holders
This year, visitors will be able to marvel at three vehicles at the Nürburgring. One of the eye-catchers and at the same time representative of the popular tourist drives: the Toyota GR86 of Nürburgring influencer Misha Charoudin. The car is regularly on the road on the Nordschleife during opening hours. His car stands for thousands of enthusiast vehicles that come to the Ring every year - whether for one or hundreds of laps on the most beautiful 20.832 kilometers in the world. More than one million subscribers follow Charoudin's videos from the Green Hell on YouTube. The GR86 is now at the Essen Motor Show - and its owner will also be there for fans on selected days.
Also on display at the Nürburgring stand: the BMW M4 CSL, the current record holder in the mid-size car category. In the spring of this year, the 550 hp vehicle lapped the Nordschleife in 7:18.137 minutes. A new record for the special model, which was designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of BMW M. Racing fans will not miss out either: the Mercedes-AMG GT3 of the Schnitzelalm Racing team is one of the crowd favorites at the endurance races on the Ring - and was able to achieve several podium finishes in 2023. Now, the green and black racing car with the star adorns the stand in Hall 3 and, with its start number, gives a preview of another highlight: the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. All other dates from the Nürburgring variety, which once again has a lot to offer in 2024 from motorsport to festivals and sporting events, can be found immediately at nuerburgring.de/events.
Early booking discount for tourist season ticket
Another promotion for the tourist rides will also start on time from the first day of the trade fair: the sale at the early bird price of the season ticket. With this ticket, tourist drivers can complete as many laps as they like on the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit each year and benefit from other advantages at the Nürburgring. These include an exclusive track walk on the Nordschleife at the start of the season, a voucher for the ring°fanshop and discounts for many offers such as on the ring°kart track or at the Nürburgring eSports bar.
Anyone who purchases a season ticket by December 22, 2023 (12:00 noon) will receive it at the special price of 2,750 euros - after that, the regular price of 3,000 euros applies. Tickets are sold online at www.nuerburgring.de.
