Due to the high demand of the fans, Rock am Ring now also offers day tickets in advance. Visitors who are only slowly getting back into a live and festival situation after a two-year break due to the pandemic, or who are more interested in the band and artists of a day, now have the opportunity to also purchase day tickets for one of the three days.
Rock am Ring celebrates its debut with an outstanding line-up, some of which was already planned for the 2020 season before Corona. The fans' anticipation at that time for the headliners Green Day and Volbeat was justified. The programme was expanded by prominent newcomers such as Muse, Placebo, Måneskin, Marteria, Beatsteaks, Casper, Scooter, 100 Gecs and many more. In total, more than seventy acts are expected at the Ring on the traditional first weekend in June.
Since 1985, tens of thousands of music fans have made the pilgrimage to the Nürburgring, first on the traditional Whitsun weekend, then on the first weekend in June. Over the decades, acts such as David Bowie, The Bangles, Alanis Morissette, The Fugees, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, Metallica, Die Toten Hosen, ASAP Rocky or Jay-Z have played here. From the beginning, the festival has always been a mirror of the current pop zeitgeist. At Rock am Ring, developments were anticipated, careers big and small were launched.
The return of live music to the festival stages will trigger a huge wave of euphoria at Rock am Ring, which will be felt throughout the entire republic.
Rock am Ring will take place from 03.06. to 05.06.2022 at the Nürburgring.
