05.08.2025

Thirteen young people have started their training or dual study program at the Nürburgring, taking the first step toward an exciting career at one of Europe's most fascinating workplaces. Whether at the Nürburgring operating company or at Nürburgring Hotels & Ferienpark, the range of apprenticeships is as diverse as the opportunities available at this well-known event and leisure destination.
The new recruits gathered for their first group photo in front of the Nürburgring logo on the façade of the ring°boulevard, which is visible from afar. Located in the immediate vicinity of the start-finish straight, the boulevard hosts numerous indoor events and corporate functions every year. The lettering on the outside is a popular photo motif for many tourists and thus also provided an attractive backdrop for the new employees at the start of their professional journey.

Unique backdrop, exciting prospects
“Standing here as an employee is something special,” says 20-year-old Joost, who has started training as a retail salesman and has visited the Nürburgring several times before. “I'm looking forward to the new challenges – especially to seeing how much goes on behind the scenes to keep the Nürburgring running.”
23-year-old Luca is also enthusiastic: “I'm doing my training as a hotel manager at Nürburgring Hotels and Ferienpark. For me, the Ring is a great mix of international flair, nature, and events. Guests from all over the world come here, which is a great motivation to get started here.”

An exciting start to a vibrant working world
The first two weeks are all about getting to know each other: During a two-week training phase, the trainees gain insights into the numerous areas and companies at the Ring. Whether visiting the ring°kartbahn, spending a practical day in track management, or gaining insights into Nürburgring Formula training, the young talents quickly learn how varied the tasks are and how versatile the departments at the Nürburgring are.
