Curtain up for the 53rd edition of the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring from June 19th to 22nd, 2025: The opening event of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) on the penultimate weekend in March was the overture to an epic in many acts at the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife. This year, the strongest GT3 teams, drivers and makes will compete for the coveted 24-hour trophy at the longest race track in the world, which at over 25 km is longer than any other race track in the world. Highlights include the first act in the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers (May 24th-25th) and, of course, the finale furioso in the actual 24h Nürburgring, which is likely to be even more colorful and diverse than before. In addition to the established teams of the German premium manufacturers Audi, BMW, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche, teams with GT3s from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Ford and Lamborghini will be making their mark this year. The action at the opening race showed that the supposed “exotic” and “underdogs” are in the thick of the action and will have a say in the awarding of the top positions. At the NLS opener, a defending champion was initially in the spotlight. Frank Stippler 
secured pole position in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 from Juta Racing and showed what 
is still possible in the already somewhat older GT from Ingolstadt. He led a very 
colorful field into the warm-up lap before the start: eight different brands took the top ten positions in the first NLS qualifying session of the season. Stippler, for example, was joined on the grid by the Walkenhorst-Aston Martin GT3, followed in rows two and three by the McLaren 720S GT3 from Dörr Motorsport and the Ferrari 296 GT3 from Kondo Racing / Rinaldi. Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Porsche lined up behind them – a real feast of what are currently arguably the most beautiful sports cars. In the race, it was the top dogs that set the tone: Porsche achieved a clean quadruple victory, with the two Falken 911s ahead of the Manthey team's “Grello” and the 911 GT3R 
from Dinamic GT.

And of course, the season opener was also extremely exciting in other respects: 22 partly hard-fought vehicle classes, in which everything from production cars to thoroughbred 
racing cars were represented. A good omen for an exciting season in amateur and popular sports as well – the fans also saw it that way and provided provided a great backdrop for this first show race.

Old and new highlights for visitors
Even though there are three months between the start of the Nordschleife season at the end of March and the season highlight at the 24h Nürburgring, fans can secure their personal ticket now. New this year: tickets are available throughout online at the 24-hour ticket shop during the event weekend. With the electronic admission ticket on your cell phone, you can also enter the track. Another new feature for visitors is the option of securing their parking space in advance: there are parking spaces available in the D9 area (near the Nürburg), for which a continuous parking permit can be purchased from Thursday to Sunday parking permit can be purchased from Thursday to Sunday. And the trip to the Ring is worthwhile on all these days! Because from Corpus Christi Thursday (June 19th) they will experience a huge program on the longest race track in the world. In addition to the 24-hour race, the Circuit Challenge power test (Thursday) and the 24-hour classic race (Saturday) will also provide plenty of drama. The Grand Prix circuit will be the venue for entertaining hours with the touring car legend race and the cup and touring car trophy. In addition to the race program, highlights such as the traditional Adenauer Racing Day on Wednesday will also be entertaining. And, of course, the 
Falken Drift Show will be back on Friday evening, taking place on the Müllenbach loop at the same time as the big autograph session and the pit walk at the start and finish line.
