Here are the remaining dates for the 2026 Cycling & Running Meet

26.05.2026

Following the successful start to the season on Whit Monday, the Nürburgring is kicking off the rest of the 2026 season for its popular cycling and running meet-ups. As early as Saturday 30 May, the Nordschleife will once again belong entirely to cycling enthusiasts at the next cycling meet-up. Until the start of August, runners and cyclists will have numerous opportunities to experience the legendary race track under their own steam.

Whether it’s a relaxed after-work ride or targeted training: at the cycling and running meet-ups, the ‘Green Hell’ is conquered by human power. Cyclists and runners experience the unique atmosphere of the Nürburgring up close and can train where motorsport history is usually made. For many participants, the dates also serve as ideal preparation for “Rad am Ring” from 24 to 26 July 2026.

Whilst the Grand Prix circuit is open to both runners and cyclists, the Nordschleife is reserved exclusively for cyclists. At the classic cycling meet-up, the legendary Nordschleife belongs exclusively to cycling enthusiasts between 7.00 pm and 9.30 pm. The combined cycling and running meet-up dates also allow cyclists to use both the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife. Runners complete their laps on the Grand Prix circuit.

Taking part is straightforward: runners and cyclists pay €5 to use the Grand Prix circuit. For cyclists, use of the Grand Prix circuit also costs €5, whilst the combination of the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife costs €18. For the cycling event on the Nordschleife alone, the participation fee is 15 euros. Children and young people up to and including the age of 17 can participate free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.

Helmets and lights are compulsory for cyclists. In addition to standard bicycles, commercially available e-bikes and pedelecs with assistance up to a maximum of 25 km/h are permitted. On the Grand Prix circuit, inline skaters, skateboards, hand bikes and e-scooters up to 25 km/h are also permitted.

Participants also have the opportunity to purchase souvenir photos of their lap at the Nürburgring via the Racetracker platform. Anyone who does not wish to be photographed can indicate this on site by displaying a sign to that effect.

“Rad am Ring” as the highlight of the season
A special highlight in the events calendar will take place from 24 to 26 July 2026 with “Rad am Ring”. The event includes, amongst other things, the legendary 24-hour cycle race, public races, touring rides, the Cycling Bundesliga, a 22-kilometre time trial, a Kids Race and a Gravel Race. The weekend is complemented by the large expo in the Grand Prix paddock. Further information is available at radamring.de.
