25.06.2025

The 2026 motorsport season is already casting its shadow: a new series highlight was unveiled at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring in the form of the German Historic Langstrecken Championship. The season comprises four endurance races, which will be held on top dates on the entire Nürburgring circuit. The new championship offers thrilling racing action, authentic motorsport, and a tribute to the golden age of endurance racing – right in the heart of the Green Hell.

The series promoter is KES Race & Events GmbH, which has been successfully organizing the Youngtimer Trophy for over 30 years. Stefan Eckhardt, Managing Director of KES, is certain: “The Historic Langstrecken Championship is the ideal addition to the existing lineup.”

Four races per season at top events
The ADAC Nordrhein e.V. and DAMC 05 Veranstaltungs-GmbH are providing the platforms for the debut season. The first three events will be held over a race distance of three hours. The grand finale will be the ADAC 1000km race. The race will offer participants and fans at least six hours of thrilling motorsport with a historic flair.
