The world's most demanding race track at Europe's largest trade fair for tuning, motorsports, and sports cars. Once again this year, the Nürburgring will be presenting itself at the Essen Motor Show. In Hall 3, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of the Green Hell – including test drives in real Formula cars and virtual laps in the eSports simulator. Until December 7, 2025, the Nürburgring will be attracting visitors with hands-on activities and trade fair discounts, a Formula training session as the main prize in a competition, fan merchandise, and giveaways.
The visual highlight of the Nürburgring stand (stand number: 3B24) at the Essen Motor Show is what makes the Nürburgring so unique: the Nordschleife. Colloquially known as the “Green Hell,” the 20.832-kilometer-long asphalt track will soon be 100 years old – a place of longing for motorsport fans from all over the world. Accordingly, the stand will feature large motifs of the unique track, complemented by modern design elements. The stand's digital presence is rounded off by LED screens and moving images produced by nürburgring.tv especially for this purpose.
Be a race car driver for a day: first get into the cockpit on site, then win Formula training
In addition to the visual appeal, the motto is: don't just look, get in! Every visitor has the opportunity to climb into the cockpit of a real Nürburgring Formula 4 racing car. Normally, these speedy cars are driven around the Grand Prix circuit as part of formula training sessions open to everyone. At this year's Nürburgring trade fair competition, this experience is the main prize, and participating via digital scratch cards is incredibly easy for everyone.
Warm up with realistic sim racing – shopping experience right on site
If you want to warm up for the real horsepower adventure right at the booth, you can also do so in the fully mobile high-tech simulators at the Nürburgring eSports Bar. Virtual rides with the feeling of real G-forces await. And in addition to memories of the fast-paced adventure, the ring°fanshop right at the stand offers further souvenirs and official fan merchandise – including attractive discounts on popular Nürburgring products. Visitors can also purchase credit for tourist drives and vouchers for driving experiences right on site.
