The Nürburgring highlights in March

01.03.2024

A premiere, a reigning world champion and a first highlight in the tourist driving calendar: the Nürburgring kicks off the 2024 season at full throttle in March. While the Nordschleife opens its gates to tourist drivers for the first time on Saturday, March 16, the international darts elite around world champion Luke Humphries will bring the ring°arena to a boil on the same evening. One week later, the new Nürburgring Endurance Series celebrates its premiere at the Ring on March 22 and 23, before the following Easter weekend is dedicated to four days of tourist driving.

The highlights in brief:

Darts am Ring | March 16
Ally Pally goes Green Hell: the darts stars travel to the Nürburgring again. On Saturday evening, March 16, they will compete against each other in the ring°arena. With Luke Humphries, fans can look forward to the reigning world champion. Other greats of the sport such as Michael Smith, Jonny Clayton and Dirk van Duijvenbode will also be guests. The anticipation is great: tickets for the indoor area sold out in no time at all. A great darts atmosphere is therefore guaranteed. If you would also like to be there: there are still some last grandstand tickets with a good view into the ring°arena - for as little as 30 euros. All information and tickets are available online.

Nürburgring Endurance Series | March 22 - 23
With free entry, the new Nürburgring Endurance Series invites you to get to know it. After the warm-up on Friday, the races are scheduled for Saturday, March 23. GT racing cars and production-based touring cars will first have the opportunity to test on the Nordschleife in the morning before the focus shifts to the Grand Prix circuit from Saturday afternoon. After the qualifying sessions, two 90-minute races are planned. Fans can experience the premiere completely free of charge. Admission to the grandstands and paddock as well as entry to the ring°werk motorsport experience museum and parking are free on both days.

Tourist drives at Easter | March 29 - April 1
The Easter weekend at the Nürburgring is traditionally dominated by the tourist drives. From Good Friday (March 29) up to and including Easter Monday (April 1), the Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit will be open to everyone every day in accordance with the road traffic regulations. For 35 euros per lap, two and four-wheel enthusiasts can experience two of the most beautiful circuits in the world for themselves. However, the tourist rides will start earlier in 2024. On Saturday, March 16, the gates to the 20.832 kilometers of the Green Hell will open. On the opening weekend, there will be two full days of tourist drives (March 16 and 17).

Simon Stäblein | March 28
Comedian Simon Stäblein is coming to the Nürburgring. On Thursday, March 28, he will make a guest appearance at the ring°kino with his current program. Stäblein, who has been described in the press with a wink as the "meanest comedian in the country", prefers to think of himself as the most realistic comedian. Tickets for his stand-up show are available for 25 euros on the Nürburgring website.
