The Nürburgring highlights in winter

03.12.2024

While the construction vehicles are out and about on the race track, the Nürburgring started its indoor season last weekend with the Rhineland-Palatinate Cheerleading State Championship. 600 participants offered the more than 1,000 spectators in the stands of the ring°arena a colorful show program of dance, acrobatics and floor exercises. The mix of top athletic performances and a great atmosphere was the perfect start to a varied winter program. Further events with sports, music and shows are now on the agenda until March.

An overview of the winter highlights:

MO-TORRES unplugged (December 13, 2024)

Cologne musician MO-TORRES returns to the Nürburgring with his new “Übertrieben Unplugged Tour 2024”. The unique atmosphere of the ring°werk museum will provide the setting for an intimate and emotional concert experience. MO-TORRES, who already thrilled audiences in the Eifel region in 2023, will present his songs, which include the hit “Übertrieben schön”, in a calmer style, seeking closeness to his fans – a recipe for an unforgettable evening. While the VIP upgrade with meet & greet and soundcheck is already sold out, tickets are still available for the concert, which begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 13.

International Sen5 Rhein Shiai (January 10–12, 2025)

From January 10 to 12, 2025, the international karate elite will meet in the ring°arena. More than 1,000 participants from 16 nations are expected to demonstrate their skills on twelve competition areas. The tournament, organized by the Mayen-based karate club Sen5, is one of the largest karate events in Europe and features fights from young talents to top athletes. The wide range of disciplines and the high level of athleticism on display are particularly impressive and will once again attract spectators from across the region. An extensive supporting program with interactive stations, a motocross course and exciting exhibitions ensures that there is no chance of getting bored away from the competitions. Tickets are available online or at the box office for €10 each.

On February 15, 2025, the ring°arena will once again be the focus of Cheersport. With over 2,000 athletes from western Germany, the Western Regional Championship is a milestone in the German Cheersport competition series. The best teams, who have previously qualified in the state championships, compete to advance to the next round. With breathtaking choreography and an electric atmosphere, this event is a real spectacle for fans and families alike. Tickets will be available online in advance of the event.

With its mix of show, competition and athletic diversity, the event offers a stage for everyone, from beginner teams to experienced competition squads. Once again, many spectators are expected to celebrate the achievements of the athletes in the ring°arena. The STAGE Championship highlights the importance of cheer sports and promotes the development of new talent. Tickets will also be available online in good time.

Darts at the Ring Gala (March 29, 2025)

The Darts at the Ring Gala is the best sign that the race engines are humming again outside. For the fourth year in a row, the darts stars will compete in the ring°arena during the current outdoor season. This time, world champions Gerwyn Price, Raymond van Barneveld and Rob Cross will be there. In addition, Germany's darts star Martin Schindler and “The Rockstar” Joe Cullen will perform on stage. And the fans will once again ensure a great atmosphere. Tickets are available for the seats in the interior of the arena and on the tiers at nuerburgring.de.
