Free admission at the big Nürburgring family day

With a colorful program and free admission, the first Nürburgring Family Day will take place on Sunday, August 20. From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., numerous hands-on activities await in the covered ring°boulevard. A Youtube star will also be there: Jannik Freestyle will show the children his soccer tricks. In addition, the motorsport experience museum ring°werk and the main grandstand of the Grand Prix circuit will be open free of charge. Take a few laps around the mini-Nürburgring with kettcars or slide cars, then take a look at the real race track, and finally take home a prize at the wheel of fortune: At the Nürburgring Family Day, kids have their pick of what's next. With a whole range of stands and attractions, the ring°boulevard becomes a true family mile. Bouncy castles, face painting, free popcorn, wheel of fortune, children's course, simulator driving and other activities will attract visitors to the indoor location. Children's eyes will also light up at the blue-light emergency vehicles with which the fire department, the Nürburgring rescue service of the German Red Cross and the police will be on site. Soccer acrobat Jannik Freestyle will be thrilling the crowd with his shows at the Ring. More than 2.5 million followers on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube already follow his spectacular ball skills. Now he is also astonishing the guests of the Nürburgring Family Day. Also possible: children and teenagers can take their first laps on a mini motorcycle. In addition, various stores on the ring°boulevard are open to visitors.

Two animal visitors to the event are at least as much in demand. Nürburgring fox Legend gets support on this day from bee Summi, the plush mascot of the Rhein-Zeitung. Together they will mix up the Nürburgring Family Day - and will of course be available for souvenir photos.

Free admission to the ring°werk adventure museum
In addition to the hustle and bustle in the ring°boulevard, the motorsport experience museum ring°werk invites visitors to explore free of charge right next door. It offers a family-friendly mix of fun attractions, educational exhibits and breathtaking race cars. There are virtual laps through the Green Hell with the Nürbus, wind, water and smells in the 4D cinema or countless impressions from Nürburgring history in the 3D revolving theater. In addition, the whole family can race against each other in the truck simulator, while the little visitors can let off steam in the children's area.

Admission to the main grandstand of the race track is also free on this day. On the taster grandstand, as the area of the BMW M Power grandstand directly at the start-finish is called, there is then the view of the race track and pit lane.

The Nürburgring Family Day opens its doors to young and old on August 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - and is completely free of charge. Parking spaces are also available free of charge in the immediate vicinity. All attractions are roofed and thus independent of the weather.
