With a print run of 12,000 copies, the first issue of ‘Der Nürburgring’ was published on 15 April 1926.
 
Until June 1927, the magazine mainly covered the construction work, the Eifel region and international motorsport. Later, the issues served as race programmes and, from the 1950s onwards, as a diverse information sheet covering the Nürburgring, motorsport and tourism in the Eifel.
