The programme at the AvD-Oldtimer-Grand-Prix is packed with motorsport highlights that take visitors on a fast-paced historical journey through time. The stations include, for example, Formula 1 history from the predecessors through the early years to the Cosworth era. Even more diverse are the fields of sports cars and prototypes. The highlight is the full field of two-seater racing cars and GTs up to 1960/61, whose popular Le Mans start demonstration followed by a 65-minute race on Saturday evening is the highlight of the weekend. Before this collection of legendary and rare sports cars takes to the starting grid, numerous other sports car icons will also be on display on the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit. The historical spectrum here ranges from the 60s to the recent past. Touring cars and GTs from various eras will also be on show in several starting fields. The revival races DRM and, of course, the premiere of the DTM Classic Cup are likely to attract the most attention. In the latter, there will be a reunion with a whole series of former DTM drivers who will once again show how to drive the racing touring cars in proper style. The action on the track is rounded off by the pre-war racing cars from the Vintage Sports Car Trophy. The field is a rolling ancestral gallery of motorsport history, from which, for example, the winning car of the Nürburgring opening race of 1927 stands out - a supercharged Mercedes Benz once driven by Rudolf Caracciola himself.

There is a lot to experience on site
In addition to the races and regularity tests, there is even more on offer on the track. For example, there will be demo runs in memory of Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips and the legendary Ferrari 156 "Sharknose". Motor Klassik will also send around 150 readers to do laps of honour on the Grand Prix circuit on Saturday and on the legendary Nordschleife on Sunday. Also on the Grand Prix circuit, parades with vehicles from Skoda motorsport history will take place on Saturday and Sunday. These important partners of the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix are of course also to be found in the paddock, where there is an enormous amount to discover: Autograph sessions with DTM stars alternate with exciting technical lectures at TÜV Rheinland. The numerous exhibitors, such as timekeeping partner Junghans or tyre manufacturer Continental, are also worth a visit. Visitors can also find the latest version of the popular racing jumper as well as other beautiful items from the merchandising collection in the AvD-OGP shop. In addition to a range of catering offers, the Motor Klassik tent, where historic rally cars also remind visitors of the 50-year history of the World Rally Championship, also invites you to take a break: So there are many reasons to come to the Nürburgring and experience and enjoy the whole panorama of historic motorsport fascination live.
