07.04.2021

Due to the current situation, the organisers of the “Nürburgring Classic” have decided to postpone the event, originally planned for mid-May this year, until next year. The new date is now May 20th – 22nd 2022. Then the 4th Nürburgring Classic will take place in its usual range. At the great historic motorsport meeting, racing series deliver tough fights, legendary classics and youngtimer are on display. The paddock with Ferris wheel, live arena, dealer area and food court, including meetings of historical racing transporters and service vehicles, will be waiting for many visitors with an atmospheric journey through time.

The Classics touring cars will start with historical DTM cars and many well-known drivers. The FHR runs the endurance race together with the Youngtimer Trophy. HTGT, 100 mile races and CanAms are present in races. There are experience races and GLPs on the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife for classic-owners and enthusiasts. The pre-war vehicles will start again with Le Mans starting the elephant race and extended Nordschleife laps. Porsche owners will compete in the traditional competition for the Herbert Linge Cup in a special GLP.

Gridwalks open the starting lines for some races to visit the teams directly at the race cars. The meeting of historical racing transporters, a 34m high Ferris wheel with a wide view over the race track and paddocks, a kids area and food court as well as a dealer village and gridgirls as classic photo motives provide for entertaining variety in the paddock. In the family-friendly programme, Saturday evening after the end of the day’s programme, there will be a rock & pop concert and the spectacular fireworks display in romantic Eiffelnacht.
