From June 6 to 8, 2025, we’re celebrating 40 years of Rock am Ring! The Nürburgring once again becomes the stage for one of Europe’s biggest music festivals. Camping and parking areas will already open on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. To ensure a smooth experience, several roads around the Nürburgring will be closed or rerouted.
Here’s everything you need to know at a glance:
❌ Road Closures (June 4–9, 2025)
- L93: Between B258 and Müllenbach
- L94: Between B258 and Welcherath (town center)
- K72: Between L94 and Müllenbach
- K73: Between B258 and Nürburg
- K20/K89: Around Campsite B5 and between Meuspath and Welcherath
- B258 – temporarily closed:
- Fri, June 6, 10 a.m. – Sat, June 7, 5 a.m.
- Sat, June 7, 10 a.m. – Sun, June 8, 5 a.m.
- Sun, June 8, 10 a.m. – Mon, June 9, 5 a.m.
➡️ Important: These roads will be completely closed during the specified periods!
🔁 Detours – How to Get There Anyway
From the West:
- U1: B257 → L92 → B258 (towards Mayen)
- U2: B257 → L10 → B412 (towards Kempenich / A61)
- U3: B257 → L92 → L93 (towards Nürburg / Meuspath)
- U4: B257 → B410 → K89 (towards Welcherath)
From the East:
- U1: L92 → B257 → L10 → B258 (towards Blankenheim / A1)
- U2: L92 → B257 (towards Kelberg / Trier / A48)
- U3: L93 → L92 (towards Nürburg / Meuspath)
- U4: K93 → K92 via Drees (towards Welcherath)
🚗 Access Requirements
Only vehicles with valid accreditation or transit permits will be allowed into restricted areas. This includes production vehicles or visitors with designated access passes.
🅿️ Park & Ride Shuttle Service
- A free shuttle bus runs from several parking areas along the B412:
- Schwalbenschwanz Parking
- Pflanzgarten / P98
- Brünnchen / P96
➡️ Note: Reduced speed limits apply at the crossings between parking and camping areas along the B412 – please drive carefully.
👋 Kiss & Ride – Drop-off & Pick-up
- From the West: Parking lot at the Driving Safety Center (B258 / L93)
- From the East: Parking lot D10 (L93 in Nürburg)

- Wed: 2 p.m. – midnight
