The decision in the FIA World Rallycross Championship will be made at the Nürburgring. A real showdown now awaits on the circuit's Müllenbachschleife at the finale at the end of November (27 and 28 November). After the third-last world championship race in Portugal, four drivers still have a chance of winning the title. The special feature of the Nürburgring is that two WRC rounds will be held here. That means for the weekend: Double points for the drivers, double action for the spectators. If you want to be there live, you can get your ticket at www.nuerburgring.de.
One winner has already been determined before the World Championship weekend in November: the spectators. This is because there will be a free choice of seats on site at the Müllenbachschleife on both days of the event. This means that every visitor can watch the many qualifying races, the semi-finals and the final on different grandstands. Whether at the start, at the finish, at the joker lap or at another spot on the track - everyone can decide on site from where they want to experience the action. The entire racing action is in full view at all times, no matter which spot you choose. The entire one-kilometer track of the Müllenbachschleife can be viewed from anywhere. Direct contact with drivers and teams is possible during the autograph session in the pit lane as well as during the pitwalk. All spectators are admitted according to the 3G principle. In addition to the one-way tickets for 59 euros, there are various advantage packages such as the family ticket (two adults and two children up to and including the age of 15 for 129 euros) or the friend ticket (two tickets for 99 euros), available at the Nürburgring Ticket Shop.
Timmy Hansen arrives in the lead - chasing trio can hope for success
There will be excitement on the track for the spectators. Each day, the action of a whole weekend can be experienced twice: on Saturday and Sunday, qualifying races, semi-finals and finals are scheduled and promise motorsport action from morning to night without a break. Timmy Hansen will travel to the big decision at the Nürburgring as the world championship leader and will have to defend his lead against his pursuers Johan Kristoffersson, Kevin Hansen and Niclas Grönholm. The trio will try to make the most of their last chance for the title. One thing is already certain for the rallycross weekend at the Nürburgring: anyone who wants to stand at the top of the podium will have to work hard for this honor. Because the mode of this type of motorsport is as special as the racing itself. The drivers have to get through several heats and a final before it is clear who will emerge as the winner. To make it to the finals, the drivers have to prove their world class and keep an eye on their vehicle. Because in rallycross, mutual contact and paint damage are an integral part of the race.
