TOYOTA GAZOO Racing and the Nürburgring are strengthening their long-standing partnership. Effective immediately, the T12a grandstand, which runs along the back straight of the Grand Prix circuit, will be renamed the “TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Grandstand.” This will make Toyota's performance brand even more visible in the Green Hell. The presence will be complemented by eye-catching advertising spaces on the pit wall and on the glass façade above the busy entrance to the ring°boulevard.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing represents the company's motorsport activities worldwide and has been an integral part of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, the legendary ADAC RAVENOL 24-hour race, and other international competitions for many years. The new visibility underscores the close connection between Toyota and the Nürburgring – not only on the track, but also off it. A special highlight is the large-scale display of a historic moment: a picture from 2007 shows Akio Toyoda, current Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Japanese automotive group – alias Morizo – during his first participation in the 24-hour race. This event marks the origin of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's philosophy: to build ever better cars through motorsport.
“The new TOYOTA GAZOO Racing grandstand and the advertising spaces on the pit wall and ring°boulevard are striking eye-catchers – right next to the track and in the middle of the action,” explains Christian Stephani, Managing Director of Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co. KG. “Toyota's expanded presence underscores the appeal of our race track as a stage for performance-oriented brands.”
Fans can now cheer on their favorite teams from the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing grandstand until at least the end of 2027. The advertising installations on the pit wall and on the ring°boulevard will be an integral part of the Nürburgring's visual identity until at least the coming season.
