Midsummer in the Eifel, time for the next highlights on and off the Nürburgring: In July, the 40th anniversary of the racing giants of the Truck Grand Prix (July 10–12) and the premiere of the 12H Nürburgring on the Grand Prix circuit (July 03–05) await, before cyclists traditionally conquer the Green Hell at Rad am Ring (July 24–26) at the end of the month. In addition, fans can look forward to smoking tires and flying darts in July.
These are the Nürburgring highlights in July:
International Shell ADAC Truck Grand Prix | July 10 to 12, 2026
Since 1986, a very special event has made the Nürburgring tremble once a year—with truck racing, country atmosphere and countless cheerful and peaceful long-distance drivers. The International Shell ADAC Truck Grand Prix is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. In addition to the thrilling and traditionally contact-heavy position battles of the multi-ton race trucks, a large supporting program awaits, featuring an industrial exhibition, a country and party festival, and many other program points. Country legends such as Tom Astor and Truck Stop are just as much a part of it as the impressive fireworks late on Saturday evening. Day tickets for this cult event start at 32.00 euros. Those who want to experience the Truck Grand Prix from its exclusive side can opt for VIP tickets in the Coca-Cola business°lounge starting at 360.00 euros.
MICHELIN 12H Nürburgring & DLMM | July 03 to 05, 2026
For the first time, the well-known GT and touring car series will stop at the Nürburgring. The series also runs on numerous racetracks across Europe and in the Emirates. At the premiere of the “Michelin 12H Nürburgring,” an exciting “split race” will take place on the 5.148-kilometer Grand Prix circuit. This means: the twelve-hour race is divided into two 6-hour sections on Saturday and Sunday. The starting field ranges from GT3 and GT4 cars to touring cars from premium brands such as Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Lamborghini, and Ferrari. Tickets are available from 10.00 euros. VIP offers including box seats and exclusive catering can be booked from 320.00 euros.
Parallel to the roar of the engines on the Grand Prix circuit, darts will be flying on the ring°boulevard on the first July weekend. The “German League Team Championships (DLMM)” will be held at the Nürburgring for the third time, transforming the 3,500-square-meter indoor area into a madhouse of electronic darts. As the largest e-darts tournament in Europe, the event is breaking records: more than 500 teams and 4,000 active players will compete on over 250 machines simultaneously for the coveted championship titles. A great spectacle—even for outsiders. In this sense: “Onehundredandeighty!“.
Rad am Ring | July 24 to 26, 2026
After the cycling highlight set a record last year with 11,948 participants, “Rad am Ring” is once again set in 2026 to firmly place the Green Hell in the hands of cyclists. The range of disciplines leaves nothing to be desired: from the legendary 24-hour race to amateur races, touring rides, the German Cycling Bundesliga, and a challenging 22-kilometer time trial, to the Kids Race and the dusty gravel race—everything is on offer. The sporting weekend is complemented by a large expo in the Grand Prix paddock, offering everything related to two-wheel mobility.
Nürburgring Drift Cup | July 31 to August 02, 2026
At the turn of the month from July to August, the Nürburgring Drift Cup invites participants to the next round. Europe’s elite drifters will take on the demanding track as well as the critical eyes of the judges. After free practice on Friday and qualifying on Saturday, the weekend culminates in the spectacular “twin battles” on Sunday. When two cars with up to 1,000 hp fly through the corners bumper to bumper in direct duels, nuances decide whether they advance or face an early exit. Day tickets are available from 25.00 euros.
