VLN Sport GmbH & Co. KG has signed the contract with Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co. KG for the dates offered to it in 2024. The organizer of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) is thus taking the first step towards holding the races at the Nürburgring. The Nürburgring operating company is now looking forward to the fulfillment of the associated modalities by the VLN so that the contract remains effective and the dates for the NLS can now also be communicated in accordance with the contract. NES GmbH, which organizes the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NES), had already signed an essentially identical contract with Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co. KG and fulfilled all contractual requirements. The NES dates for the 2024 season have therefore already been fixed.
The Nürburgring Endurance Series (NES) and the NLS have each been offered five dates, evenly spread over the months of March to November, by Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co. KG. The dates are based on a proposal from the VLN. Both racing series have the opportunity to organize four Saturday races each and a so-called "double-header" weekend with two race days each. Friday is also included as a practice day for all dates.
The Nürburgring operating company will communicate the current calendar for the 2024 season after the final allocation of dates.
