Full programme for the Nürburgring season opening weekend

The first weekend of events at the Nürburgring is causing a sensation both on and off the track. With thrilling racing at the Nürburgring Endurance Series on Saturday, 18 March, and the first barrier opening at the tourist races on Sunday, 19 March, there is a lot going on at the legendary race track. Meanwhile, in the ring°arena there will be the big rendez-vous with German darts sensation Gabriel Clemens, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton and many more at the Darts am Ring Gala. Nürburgring. Visitors of the "Darts am Ring Gala" on Saturday, 18 March can look forward to an atmosphere like in the famous Ally Pally. With around 3,800 visitors, the event in the ring°arena promises plenty of fan chants and 180 cheers. The big names of darts will be there: Gabriel Clemens as the German World Championship sensation, who could only be stopped in the semi-finals by the later World Champion Michael Smith. Also on the big stage will be three-time World Champion Michael van Gerwen, multiple Major Champion Jonny Clayton as well as Florian Hempel, Luke Humphries and Niko Springer. The first match will start at 7 pm. Only a few tickets are still available at the box office.

Season opener for Nürburgring Endurance Series
On the legendary combination of sprint track and Nordschleife, teams and drivers of the Nürburgring Endurance Series are looking forward to the premiere. The 68th ADAC Westfalenfahrt marks the start of the season with a total of nine races. In the morning, qualifying starts at 8:30 a.m. to compete for the best grid positions. At 12 p. m., the lights go green for the four-hour hunt. Tickets are available for 20 euros (children up to 14 years free of charge) on the Website and at the box offices. This gets you into the open grandstands at the Grand Prix circuit, the exclusive spectator areas Brünnchen and Pflanzgarten as well as the paddock, the pit lane, the starting grid and the motorsport experience museum ring°werk.

Tourist drives on the Nordschleife
Sunday 19 March brings an end to a long period of sacrifice for many tourist drivers. From 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the legendary Nordschleife opens for the first time for the popular tourist drives. The rules for the tourist drives are simple: anyone who has a driving licence and a registered car or motorbike can basically drive on the Nürburgring during the opening hours. It is not a racing event and takes place according to the rules of the road traffic regulations.
