90,000 visitors at Rock am Ring, more than 200,000 at the 24-hour race, and many more at the Nürburgring Classic and the ADAC Racing Weekend: in June, the Nürburgring attracts crowds to the Eifel region with festival vibes, the roar of engines, and endless excitement. It all kicks off with the anniversary edition of Rock am Ring from June 6 to 8. Almost a tradition now, the Nürburgring Classic takes place the following weekend (June 13 to 15), slotting in between the two most popular events at the Nürburgring. Because a week later, on Corpus Christi weekend (June 19 to 22), the famous ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring will take place. June will be rounded off from June 27 to 29 with the ADAC Racing Weekend, which will also host the Porsche Sports Cup this year. The events in June 2025 in detail: Rock am Ring | June 6–8, 2025Rock am Ring is completely sold out – earlier than ever before: 90,000 fans will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the cult festival at the Nürburgring this year. Headliners such as Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, and Korn will rock the main stage, while more than 100 other acts await fans on three additional stages. The biggest line-up in Rock am Ring history includes The Prodigy, K.I.Z, Kontra K, Rise Against, Sleep Token, and the Beatsteaks, representing the enormous range of the sold-out anniversary edition. A highlight on Friday: “Very Special Guests” will open the festival on the main stage – who could the Ringrockers be looking forward to seeing? Nürburgring Classic | June 13–15, 2025Formula 1 cars from the past 30 years, pre-war racing cars, DTM touring cars from the 80s and 90s: The Nürburgring Classic brings the golden age of motorsport back to life – loud and up close. Around 800 race cars are expected to take part in this year's event. They will bring the flair of past decades back to the asphalt in more than 20 races and special runs. Ready for a full-throttle 2025: the engines will finally start up at the Nürburgring in March. And once again, the event calendar is full to bursting: 60 events make the Eifel race track a worthwhile destination for many good reasons well into the fall. Racing spectacle, festival summer, comedy evening or family outing: the Nürburgring will make hearts beat faster again this year. They belong to the Ring as much as the champagne shower on the podium: crowd-pullers such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours, the DTM, Rock am Ring, the Truck Grand Prix and the Oldtimer Grand Prix will once again attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Eifel this year. A fast-paced mix that includes around 60 public events between March and November alone. Major events alternate with hands-on motor sports and small after-work pleasures, such as the Nürburgring cycling and running club or the Afterwork Classics. One of the highlights will be the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. On the Corpus Christi weekend (June 19-22), well over 100 race cars will take on the ultimate challenge: 24 hours non-stop on the most demanding track in the world. A spectacle – also because of its passionate fans. Tens of thousands will be camping along the track, creating the unique atmosphere of the Ring. One new feature this year is a particularly family-friendly camping option in the new Family & Friends area. If you enjoy the thrilling and close racing on the Nordschleife, there are many other opportunities to experience racing action in the Green Hell throughout the year at the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series and the RCN circuit racing challenge. And because the Nürburgring is not just about watching, other hands-on events are looking forward to motivated participants. The countdown has started! Only 226 days to go until Rock am Ring opens its doors at the Nürburgring from June 6–8, 2025 and celebrates its 40th anniversary. Founded in 1985, Rock am Ring is now one of the most important music festivals in Europe, together with its sister festival Rock im Park, and continues to set new standards – especially with its anniversary edition next year. The names of the second wave of bands show once again that fans can look forward to a truly special edition. It's no wonder that advance ticket sales for Rock am Ring are also more successful than ever: over 70,000 weekend tickets have already been sold. Tickets are in short supply or already sold out for some camping categories. In addition to the 14 acts already announced, including Bring Me the Horizon, who will be appearing exclusively in the EU at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, and Slipknot, around 70 of 100 acts have now been confirmed. Among the headliners are The Prodigy – the British icons and pioneers of big beat and electro-rock, known for their intense, energetic performances and dark, pulsating beats, will deliver a unique show. American punk rock heroes and pioneers of political punk Rise Against will thrill fans at the Nürburgring with their usual passionate live performances. With the current season still in full swing at the Nürburgring, the race track and event location is already giving a preview of the coming year. From international highlights to event exotics and from motorsport to entertainment, the 2025 calendar once again promises the unique Nürburgring mix. A current overview: Exciting motorsport highlights in the Green HellNaturally, the world's longest permanent race track is also characterised by an attractive motorsport calendar in 2025. Particularly popular with fans: endurance motorsport on the Nordschleife. The highlight is the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, which will once again put man and machine to the ultimate test from 19 to 22 June 2025 and promise a gigantic motorsport party together with tens of thousands of fans. As usual, the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) will kick off the motorsport year. After the first race on 22 March, eight more race days will follow until October, each of which usually falls on a Saturday. Only on 13 and 14 September are two race days scheduled on one weekend for the NLS and therefore also the only race Sunday in the series. The dates of the Nürburgring Rundstrecken Challenge (RCN) are another Nordschleife format on the calendar. Regularity and performance tests offer popular sport from road-legal to race-ready vehicles. From GT3 to XXL: thrilling motorsport from racing cars to race trucksFans of thrilling motorsport will once again get their money's worth on the Grand Prix circuit. The giants of motorsport will compete against each other on the sprint version of the International ADAC Truck Grand Prix from 10 - 13 July. Every year, the event delights visitors with a family-friendly concept of motorsport, festival, colourful paddock and trade fair. Included in the supporting programme: the ADAC GT Masters. The Fanatec GT World Challenge (29 - 31 August) and the Porsche Sports Cup (30 May - 1 June) will feature high-quality racing cars from the world's best-known automotive brands. The Nürburgring Drift Cup, which will host its first round on 26 and 27 April, and GRIP - the motor event that will attract the tuning community to the Eifel on 6 July, are also high on horsepower and, above all, action-packed drifting. The date for the DTM at the Nürburgring has already been finalised. However, fans will have to wait a little longer before the announcement. The racing series will present its annual calendar in the coming days. Experiences with music and muscle powerAway from the roaring sounds of engines, powerful guitar riffs await at the beginning of June. Rock am Ring will get visitors' hearts racing from 6 to 8 June. According to the recently published first wave of bands, ‘Slipknot’ and ‘Bring me the Horizon’ have already been confirmed as headliners for the festival's 40th anniversary alongside other well-known bands. A similar-sounding event name, but with a completely different intention, can be found in the 2025 calendar with Rad am Ring. In mid-July, thousands of tireless participants will once again take to the start line to conquer the Green Hell with their own muscle power. Incidentally, this is also required for the Hotfoot Run - but not on two wheels, but on foot. The obstacle course takes place on 10 May. Fast-paced PS classics in racing actionThe heroes and automotive jewels of days gone by have also once again secured several permanent places on the Ring calendar. The ADAC RGB season finale, the ADAC Westfalen Trophy and, last but not least, the Kölner Kurs as a historic motorbike event round off the historic programme. Motorbike service and racing on two wheelsSpeaking of motorbikes: after returning to the Nürburgring this year, the International Motorcycle Championship (IDM) is also on the calendar for the coming season. From 5 to 7 September, the series will kick off with thrilling two-wheel racing. There will be impressive pictures of thousands of motorbikes off the racing line at the ‘Anlassen’ motorbike service on 27 April. One of the highlights of the programme: the joint parade around the legendary Nordschleife. Diverse indoor events: entertainment away from the racetrackThe Nürburgring also continues to see a steady increase in events away from the tarmac. And so the 2025 season in the Green Hell starts and ends with indoor events throughout the year. The International Rhine Shiai Karate Tournament will kick off the season on the second weekend in January, while the German Carnival Garda Dance Championship will be the event finale in December. Both events will take place in the ring°arena, as will two cheerleading competitions on 15 and 16 February and the ‘Darts am Ring’ gala in March. The latter is set to become the undisputed fan magnet in the indoor calendar with over 3,000 fans expected. The exact date for the flying darts event will be announced shortly. Further music and entertainment formats at the Nürburgring venues are also scheduled for next year. The turbulent 24-hour race has only just ended and the next highlight is already on the agenda at the Nürburgring: Rock am Ring, one of the country's most famous festivals, will be taking place in the Eifel in just a few days' time. And the rest of the month is also packed with exciting events. In addition to GRIP - Das Motorevent (June 23), the third race weekend of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (June 22), the Porsche Sports Cup (June 15 - 16) and the ADAC Racing Weekend (June 28 - 30), a special highlight awaits soccer fans in June: the Nürburgring is hosting free public viewing of the German national team's European Championship matches. The events at a glance: Rock am Ring (June 5 - 7)Die Ärzte, Broilers, Måneskin, Kraftklub, Green Day: just a small selection of bands that will be shaking up the Eifel at Rock am Ring this year. EM Public Viewing (from June 14) At the public viewing at the Nürburgring, the matches of the German national soccer team and the final of the UEFA EURO 2024 can be experienced live. All of the DFB team's preliminary round matches will be shown in the ring°boulevard. If coach Nagelsmann's boys reach the knockout round, the match schedule will determine whether the respective game will be shown in the ring°boulevard or in the Eifel Stadl. In any case, food and drink will be available at the snack stands - and parking spaces are also available in the immediate vicinity. Admission is free. ADAC Nürburgring Langestrecken-Serie (June 22)After the 24-hour race, the thrilling motorsport continues on the Nordschleife: the next race in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, which is held exclusively on the legendary Eifel circuit, starts on Saturday, June 22. The race cars will be divided into various classes - from full-blown GT3s to near-series vehicles. The schedule is compact: 90 minutes of qualifying in the morning, four hours of racing in the afternoon. In between, the gates to the pit lane and even the starting grid are open to all spectators. Porsche Sports Cup (June 15 & 16)911 enthusiasts are in just the right place here: the Porsche Sports Cup is all about the sports cars from Zuffenhausen for a whole weekend. Racing and road cars share the race track and paddock of the Grand Prix circuit in mid-June. The latest GT3, GT4 and Cup cars provide exciting races. One highlight is the new Porsche Sprint Challenge Classic. Historic Porsche 911 Cup cars from the 1990s will compete against each other. And best of all: admission to the grandstand and paddock is free. ADAC Racing Weekend (June 28 - 30)Eight racing series under one roof: the ADAC Racing Weekend at the end of the month combines a lot of racing in one weekend. GT and touring car series such as the GTC Race and the Special Touring Car Trophy will be competing on the 3.6-kilometre short circuit of the Grand Prix circuit. Spectators can also look forward to seeing historic racing cars. The BMW 318ti Cup races are always particularly busy. The Friday ticket is for all fans who want to experience the country music evening up close. A legendary atmosphere awaits with performances by Alina Sebastian, Big S, Jake Lindholm and Tom Astor. Saturday offers the perfect opportunity for those who want to enjoy party music to the full - with performances by Isi Glück, Julian Benz, Nancy Franck and Peter Wackel. Both day tickets for Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13 include access to the entire Müllenbachschleife and the festival area from 17:00. Tickets are available here from € 10,00.

Kerry King, the guitarist of cult thrash metallers Slayer, who disbanded in 2019, has now confirmed his participation in Rock am Ring. After a five-year break, King recently returned with his solo project and the album "From Hell I Rise", which will be released on May 17. In addition to King on guitar, he is supported by top-class musicians such as Mark Osegueda (Death Angel) on the mic, bassist Kyle Sanders (ex-Hellyeah), guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) and a colleague from the Slayer days, Paul Bostaph, on drums. Musically, Kerry King wants to remain true to his Slayer heritage, as his show at Ring will prove. > Full Lineup & Tickets Crossover pioneers H-Blockx have also joined the line-up, and this year they will not only be celebrating one of their first appearances at Ring since 2010. They are also celebrating the 30th anniversary of their pioneering debut album "Time To Move", which not only achieved gold status but was also named album of the year at the time, spending 62 weeks in the charts. After the band led by singer Henning Wehland returned to the stage in 2020 after a long absence from live performances, the four of them showed that they are still among the spearheads of German rock acts.
