In addition to thrilling motorsports, a trade fair, and a symposium, the 2025 ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix 2025 (July 11–13) offers a top-class festival program that transforms the Müllenbachschleife into a huge open-air party zone. Whether you're a music fan, a family, or a trucker – the supporting program has something for everyone. Country & Party Music on the StarGames Festival StageFestival Friday (July 11) is all about country music: The legendary Country Night features a true evergreen – Tom Astor returns for his 37th consecutive performance. Also performing are Alina Sebastian, Salvati, and The Wild Ride. Saturday night (July 12) brings the big party highlight: With Loona, Malle Anja, Markus Becker, and Sabbotage, high energy and top vibes are guaranteed. A spectacular fireworks display over the Müllenbachschleife will provide a stunning grand finale. Debut: Retro Camp in the Historic PaddockNew this year is the Retro Camp in the historic paddock, offering a unique look into the rich history of the ADAC Truck Grand Prix. Surrounded by lovingly preserved vintage trucks, memorabilia from the early years, and nostalgic video footage, visitors can immerse themselves in the early days of the event. Also attending is Heinz-Werner Lenz, one of the event’s pioneering drivers, who will be available for a stage interview and autograph session. ADAC GT Masters at the ADAC Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring

08.07.2025

Tradition meets festival. On the weekend of July 11-13, the ADAC GT Masters will kick off at the legendary Nürburgring as part of the Internationalen ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix. Last year, 130,000 spectators traveled to the joint festival of the ADAC GT Masters and the trucks. This season, there was already a joint event at the season opener at the Lausitzring. The ADAC GT Masters field is growing at the Nürburgring: Team Joos is returning to the series with a Porsche. Both races of the weekend will start at 4:10 p.m. and will be streamed live on sport1.de, Joyn, ServusTV ON, and youtube.com/adacmotorsports. In addition, both races will be broadcast on a delayed basis on Sky Sport. Return to endurance formatAnother endurance weekend will be held at the Nürburgring. Both races on the 3.629 km short circuit will last 80 minutes and include two mandatory pit stops with driver changes. Victory in the only two endurance races so far in 2025 went to the current championship leaders Leo Pichler (23/AT)/Simon Birch (18/DNK/both Razoon – more than racing). They are currently just one point ahead of Tim Zimmermann (28/Langenargen)/Leyton Fourie (19/RSA/both FK Performance Motorsport) in their Porsche 911 GT3 R, who were the high flyers of the second weekend of the season at Zandvoort in their BMW M4 GT3 Evo.“We've seen that we can compete at the front. Now that we're in first place in the championship, we obviously want to stay there,” said Pichler. “We feel very well prepared for the upcoming endurance races. We've got that under control and I think we could achieve some very good results again.” Home race for many drivers and teamsFor many drivers and teams, the weekend in the Eifel will be a home race. Leading the way is Nico Hantke (21). The Hürth native lives less than 80 kilometers from the Nürburgring. He drives the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo2 from Scherer Sport PHX, which is based in Meuspath, in the industrial park of the Nürburgring. “I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I really like the track itself and I also think it should suit our Audi,” explained Hantke. “Of course, the weather is always a decisive factor in the Eifel, but I'm convinced that my Scherer team is prepared for all eventualities simply because of its proximity.” The twins Sandro and Juliano Holzem (21) have probably the shortest journey. The two Schubert Motorsport drivers live in Polch, 30 kilometers away as the crow flies. Sandro Holzem achieved his best result in the ADAC GT Masters to date at the Nürburgring in 2023 with a second place. “For us, this weekend is a combination of pressure and motivation. Of course, we want to do our best, especially because so many friends and sponsors are there. At the same time, it motivates us even more to achieve a top result at home,” said Sandro Holzem. His brother Juliano added: “Of course we want to win, otherwise we wouldn't be here!” The Haupt Racing Team can also count on its home advantage with the three Ford Mustang GT3s. The team is based in Drees, right next to the Nürburgring, and won both races in the Eifel last year – albeit in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 at the time. Moritz Wiskirchen will be trying to impress the home crowd in 2025 with this brand. The 22-year-old from Euskirchen has been visiting the Nürburgring with his father since he was a child. “Just because I live right around the corner, I haven't been there more often than the others, unfortunately,” said Wiskirchen. “Nevertheless, I'm optimistic. The track should suit our Mercedes-AMG, and I hope that with my extra motivation at home, we'll be right up there at the front.” Runner-up returns to ADAC GT MastersTeam Joos Sportwagentechnik will make a guest appearance in the ADAC's GT3 junior league at the Nürburgring. Team boss Michael Joos (34/Vöhringen) and newcomer Felix Neuhofer (28/AT) will be driving the Porsche 911 GT3 R. The team from Vöhringen in Baden-Württemberg is no stranger to the ADAC GT Masters. The team competed in the entire 2021 season and finished runner-up in the drivers' championship with current DTM driver Ayhancan Güven and Christian Engelhart. Michael Joos has competed in a total of ten races so far and won the second race at the Red Bull Ring in 2023. Team mate Neuhofer already has a wealth of experience in Porsche and has competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, among other series. "For me, the ADAC GT Masters debut is a real milestone – but I'm not here just to take part. I want to show what I can do, fight, push, and assert myself. The series is tough, but that's exactly what motivates me,“ said the Austrian. Teammate and team boss Joos added: ”The start at the Nürburgring is a one-off for now, but we hope that two good races will attract sponsors and partners who can enable us to compete in further races in this year's ADAC GT Masters season."

ADAC Truck Grand Prix 2025: Sustainability in focus at motorsport event, trade fair, and symposium

01.07.2025

From July 11 to 13, race trucks will once again take to the track at the Nürburgring. The premiere of the Truck Efficiency Run will focus on sustainable driving. The ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix 2025 is setting new standards in sustainability. While state-of-the-art drive technologies compete on the race track, the event is also a showcase for technical innovations and a sustainable logistics industry off the asphalt. Racing series with a pioneering role in climate protectionAs the first FIA racing series worldwide, the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) has been using the plant-based fuel HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) since 2021, which reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90 percent compared to fossil fuels. In addition, IVECO's electric pace truck is another example of sustainable drive technology in action. Since the start of the 2025 season, the IVECO S-eWay has been leading the field as the world's first fully electric pace truck, and since 2023, fully electric and hybrid drive systems have also been approved for the ETRC. Truck Efficiency Run: competition for sustainable drivingThe Truck Efficiency Run powered by Krone will celebrate its premiere this year on July 10 on the Nordschleife. Truck drivers from all over Germany will compete in a competition where speed and horsepower are not the deciding factors, but rather the most efficient driving style. In addition to classic diesel trucks, electric and LNG vehicles will also be on the starting line. Only one thing matters: who achieves the lowest fuel consumption under real conditions? "The aim of the event is not only to raise awareness of fuel-efficient driving, but also to focus on drivers as a decisive factor. We want to show how big an influence people have behind the wheel and how real savings can be achieved through anticipatory, conscious driving," says Georg Fuchs, Managing Director of ETRA Promotion. The most efficient drivers will be honored at a ceremony at the TruckSymposium the following day. TruckSymposium: Transformation in transport logisticsThe 18th TruckSymposium organized by ADAC Mittelrhein and TÜV Rheinland will take place on July 11 at the Bitburger Event Center. Around 120 representatives from business, associations, government agencies, politics, and the media will exchange ideas on the topic of “Transformation in transport logistics: Theory meets practice!” and discuss solutions for a more climate-friendly transport sector. Trade fair & job expo: innovation meets careerEven away from the race track, the ADAC Truck Grand Prix proves itself to be a forward-looking event: On around 10,000 m² of exhibition space, renowned companies such as Daimler Truck, Iveco, MAN, Renault Trucks, Scania, Ford Trucks, Krone, Schmitz Cargobull, and Goodyear Tires will be presenting innovative and sustainable mobility solutions and state-of-the-art drive technologies on all days of the event.Another highlight is the Truck Grand Prix Job Expo in the ring°boulevard. Here, young professionals, aspiring professional drivers, and anyone interested in the logistics sector can meet companies from the region. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the stands of freight forwarders and logistics service providers offer opportunities for personal discussions, insights into training opportunities, and career prospects. The ADAC Truck Grand Prix combines sustainable mobility, motorsport, specialist events, and festival flair – an experience for all generations. Live bands will provide entertainment at the Country Evening (July 11) and Party Evening (July 12) in the Müllenbachschleife. New this year is the Retro Camp in the historic paddock with its own stage, country vibes, and a varied supporting program.  There will also be a diverse supporting program for the whole family: from a truck parade and fan village to a children's area with bouncy castles and a duck rodeo. Children up to and including 12 years of age receive free admission.

Nürburgring has a full calendar of events in 2025

12.03.2025

Ready for a full-throttle 2025: the engines will finally start up at the Nürburgring in March. And once again, the event calendar is full to bursting: 60 events make the Eifel race track a worthwhile destination for many good reasons well into the fall. Racing spectacle, festival summer, comedy evening or family outing: the Nürburgring will make hearts beat faster again this year. They belong to the Ring as much as the champagne shower on the podium: crowd-pullers such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours, the DTM, Rock am Ring, the Truck Grand Prix and the Oldtimer Grand Prix will once again attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Eifel this year. A fast-paced mix that includes around 60 public events between March and November alone. Major events alternate with hands-on motor sports and small after-work pleasures, such as the Nürburgring cycling and running club or the Afterwork Classics. One of the highlights will be the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. On the Corpus Christi weekend (June 19-22), well over 100 race cars will take on the ultimate challenge: 24 hours non-stop on the most demanding track in the world. A spectacle – also because of its passionate fans. Tens of thousands will be camping along the track, creating the unique atmosphere of the Ring. One new feature this year is a particularly family-friendly camping option in the new Family & Friends area. If you enjoy the thrilling and close racing on the Nordschleife, there are many other opportunities to experience racing action in the Green Hell throughout the year at the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series and the RCN circuit racing challenge. The International ADAC Truck Grand Prix is also a real experience. For decades, Germany's truckers have been celebrating Christmas with country music, camping and fast-paced racing. This year, the truckers will be on the loose from July 11 to 13. The traditional music festival has recently undergone a rejuvenation. The revamped Saturday evening program now features well-known party artists, and affordable single-day tickets are available for this event. Europe's most famous racing series, the DTM (August 8-10), will once again be a guest on the Nürburgring's sprint track – and will shine with a wide variety of brands, familiar faces and thrilling racing. Or how about a journey back in time to the last century of motorsport? With the Nürburgring Classic (June 13-15), the BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix (August 1-3) and the ADAC 1000 km race (September 20-21), three events are dedicated to historic racing cars. Indoor events from comedy to sportsThere will be plenty of laughter and celebration off the track this year: Comedian Carolin Kebekus will be making a guest appearance in the ring°arena in the fall (September 20) with her celebrated Shesus tour. NightWash Live will also be bringing stand-up comedy to the Nürburgring again this year, on November 15. And at Darts am Ring, some of the world's best dart throwers will transform the ring°arena into a madhouse together with many celebrating darts fans on March 29 – just like at the big role model, the Ally Pally. The Nürburgring Family Day on October 26 and the Job Fair on November 7 and 8 round off the indoor highlights. And because the Nürburgring is not just about watching, other hands-on events are looking forward to motivated participants. Whether on two wheels at Rad am Ring (July 18-20), on foot at the Hotfoot Run (May 10), or with the powerful Gargenschatz at GRIP - das Motorevent (July 6). Speaking of garage treasures: Numerous tourist driving days are planned again for all petrol heads, during which anyone can drive on the ring. The Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit will open their barriers on well over 100 days.

04.09.2024

With the current season still in full swing at the Nürburgring, the race track and event location is already giving a preview of the coming year. From international highlights to event exotics and from motorsport to entertainment, the 2025 calendar once again promises the unique Nürburgring mix. A current overview: Exciting motorsport highlights in the Green HellNaturally, the world's longest permanent race track is also characterised by an attractive motorsport calendar in 2025. Particularly popular with fans: endurance motorsport on the Nordschleife. The highlight is the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, which will once again put man and machine to the ultimate test from 19 to 22 June 2025 and promise a gigantic motorsport party together with tens of thousands of fans. As usual, the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) will kick off the motorsport year. After the first race on 22 March, eight more race days will follow until October, each of which usually falls on a Saturday. Only on 13 and 14 September are two race days scheduled on one weekend for the NLS and therefore also the only race Sunday in the series. The dates of the Nürburgring Rundstrecken Challenge (RCN) are another Nordschleife format on the calendar. Regularity and performance tests offer popular sport from road-legal to race-ready vehicles. From GT3 to XXL: thrilling motorsport from racing cars to race trucksFans of thrilling motorsport will once again get their money's worth on the Grand Prix circuit. The giants of motorsport will compete against each other on the sprint version of the International ADAC Truck Grand Prix from 10 - 13 July. Every year, the event delights visitors with a family-friendly concept of motorsport, festival, colourful paddock and trade fair. Included in the supporting programme: the ADAC GT Masters. The Fanatec GT World Challenge (29 - 31 August) and the Porsche Sports Cup (30 May - 1 June) will feature high-quality racing cars from the world's best-known automotive brands. The Nürburgring Drift Cup, which will host its first round on 26 and 27 April, and GRIP - the motor event that will attract the tuning community to the Eifel on 6 July, are also high on horsepower and, above all, action-packed drifting. The date for the DTM at the Nürburgring has already been finalised. However, fans will have to wait a little longer before the announcement. The racing series will present its annual calendar in the coming days. Experiences with music and muscle powerAway from the roaring sounds of engines, powerful guitar riffs await at the beginning of June. Rock am Ring will get visitors' hearts racing from 6 to 8 June. According to the recently published first wave of bands, ‘Slipknot’ and ‘Bring me the Horizon’ have already been confirmed as headliners for the festival's 40th anniversary alongside other well-known bands. A similar-sounding event name, but with a completely different intention, can be found in the 2025 calendar with Rad am Ring. In mid-July, thousands of tireless participants will once again take to the start line to conquer the Green Hell with their own muscle power. Incidentally, this is also required for the Hotfoot Run - but not on two wheels, but on foot. The obstacle course takes place on 10 May. Fast-paced PS classics in racing actionThe heroes and automotive jewels of days gone by have also once again secured several permanent places on the Ring calendar. Old and youngtimers and memories of many decades of motorsport will be brought to life on the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife. The Nürburgring Classic will kick off 2025 from 13 to 15 June. This will be followed in August by the BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix (1st - 3rd) and the legendary ADAC 1000km race from 20th to 21st September. The ADAC RGB season finale, the ADAC Westfalen Trophy and, last but not least, the Kölner Kurs as a historic motorbike event round off the historic programme. Motorbike service and racing on two wheelsSpeaking of motorbikes: after returning to the Nürburgring this year, the International Motorcycle Championship (IDM) is also on the calendar for the coming season. From 5 to 7 September, the series will kick off with thrilling two-wheel racing. There will be impressive pictures of thousands of motorbikes off the racing line at the ‘Anlassen’ motorbike service on 27 April. One of the highlights of the programme: the joint parade around the legendary Nordschleife. Diverse indoor events: entertainment away from the racetrackThe Nürburgring also continues to see a steady increase in events away from the tarmac. And so the 2025 season in the Green Hell starts and ends with indoor events throughout the year. The International Rhine Shiai Karate Tournament will kick off the season on the second weekend in January, while the German Carnival Garda Dance Championship will be the event finale in December. Both events will take place in the ring°arena, as will two cheerleading competitions on 15 and 16 February and the ‘Darts am Ring’ gala in March. The latter is set to become the undisputed fan magnet in the indoor calendar with over 3,000 fans expected. The exact date for the flying darts event will be announced shortly. Further music and entertainment formats at the Nürburgring venues are also scheduled for next year. Comedy at NightWash live, the Nürburgring Family Day and a colourful afternoon at the Disney Channel cinema have been decided for 2025 and will soon be added to the calendar.

Jochen Hahn crossed the finish line just under five seconds later. Local hero Sascha Lenz completed the podium in third place. Stefanie Halm won the second race ahead of Hahn and Kiss. The gaps here were much smaller: all three finished within just one and a half seconds of each other. The finish in the third race was the same as in the first: Kiss again won ahead of Hahn and Lenz.Antonio Albacete, Hahn, Lenz: That was the podium of the fourth and final race at the Nürburgring. Lenz had to fend off persistent attacks from Kiss, especially on the final lap, and crossed the finish line just a few meters ahead of the Hungarian. The three races of the Dutch Truck Racing ADAC Mittelrhein Cup were won by Craig Reid (races 1 & 3) and Erwin Kleinnagelvoort. The second race had to be stopped due to an accident. In addition to the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship drivers, the ADAC GT Masters drivers once again showed off their skills on the Grand Prix circuit. Truck Grand Prix in the spirit of sustainabilityLast year, the Hahn Racing team presented the world's first electrically powered race truck, the Iveco eTruck, to the public in the paddock. This year, the truck drove for the first time in the Iveco parade on the Grand Prix circuit, and Scania also used its Battery Electric Truck in the Knorr-Bremse Go&Stop competition. Sustainability also plays a very important role for the organizer. Georg Fuchs, Managing Director of ETRA Promotion GmbH, said: "Sustainability is one of our most important strategic goals both on and off the race track. We want to establish the Goodyear FIA ETRC as a leading platform for the promotion of sustainable practices and technologies and have committed to net zero emissions by 2038. We are delighted to have achieved the highest possible environmental standard set by the FIA just before the Truck Grand Prix. The FIA's three-star environmental accreditation confirms our diverse sustainability initiatives in motorsport." Stars to touch in the paddockChatting with the truck stars, getting autographs, watching the mechanics wrenching, denting and repairing: Spectators at the ADAC Truck Grand Prix were once again able to do all this in the paddock. The huge area was divided into three sections: the paddock, the event area and the exhibition park. In the paddock, the teams presented their race trucks, while in the Event Area and the Children's Area, families got their money's worth and visitors could also take part in competitions. Top decision-makers at the commercial vehicle trade fair & truck symposiumOn all days, 60 national and international truck manufacturers, suppliers and freight forwarders presented themselves to the public on around 10,000 square meters in the exhibition park. With Daimler Truck, Ford Truck, Iveco, MAN, Renault Truck and Scania, among others, six of Europe's leading truck manufacturers were on site. They presented their latest innovations and invited visitors to take one or two souvenirs home with them. On Friday, 124 representatives from politics, business and science discussed current developments and challenges in the transport industry at the Truck Symposium organized by ADAC Mittelrhein and TÜV Rheinland. The topic was climate-friendly logistics between the market and technology. The tenor of the experts: politicians must listen more to business and science and support the transformation in an unbureaucratic, long-term and technology-open manner. To this end, it is imperative to provide more funds to modernize the infrastructure of rail and road freight transport, promote sustainable drives, create incentives for private investors and better market conditions overall. For example, politicians must do more to expand charging networks and hydrogen refueling facilities along long-distance transport routes if the climate targets for road freight transport are to be achieved by 2030. Numerous people interested in careers at Job ExpoThe ADAC Truck Grand Prix was also a meeting point for people interested in careers, who met potential employers at the Job Expo in the ring°boulevard at the stands of freight forwarders and logistics companies and discussed career prospects. They were able to have their application documents checked by the employment agency and experts gave specialist presentations: from training and further education opportunities to the Qualification Opportunities Act. Looking at the event as a whole, Rudi Speich, Chairman of ADAC Mittelrhein e.V., drew a positive conclusion: "The ADAC Truck Grand Prix's triad of motorsport, trade fair and festival is unique. We are very grateful for the enormous popularity and are already looking forward to the next edition in 2025." The 38th International ADAC Truck Grand Prix will take place from July 10 to 13, 2025.
