The Nürburgring will once again be transformed into the roaring heart of the motorbike scene at the ‘Anlassen’ motorbike service on Sunday, 27 April 2025. Thousands of bikers traditionally follow the call to the Eifel to welcome the new season together - with free admission. Highlights include the adventure and food court in the paddock, the ecumenical church service and the large joint parade around the Nordschleife. Thousands of bikers and their joint lap through the Green Hell: year after year, the parade on the Nordschleife is the highlight for many motorcyclists at the Nürburgring. This year, the Grand Prix paddock opens its doors to passionate two-wheeler fans as early as 8.00 am. Here you can meet like-minded people, swap stories and marvel at the variety on two wheels, from cutting-edge machines to lovingly maintained classics. More than just mopeds: food court and performancesThere will also be plenty of action and information around the Nürburgring pit building: partner POLO Motorrad will not only be presenting trends and accessories, but will also be bringing along the popular performance test bench once again. There, everyone can check what their favourite really has under the bonnet. Well-known exhibitors such as Öhlins will be showcasing their products, while the police, the Fahrsicherheitszentrum Nürburgring and POLO will be impressing visitors with their driving demonstrations in the show area. If you want to get active yourself, you can let off steam on the new pit bike course on the helipad. Between 8.00 am and 2.15 pm, motorcyclists can also take a few laps of the Grand Prix circuit's sprint track on guided rides (from 25 euros for 3 laps). The band ‘dernächstebitte’ will provide the right sound for the start of the season with a musical stage programme. And the food court will satisfy hunger and thirst. God's blessing and a shared lap of the Nordschleife‘Anlassen’ 2025 provides exciting insights - and shows heart: There is the opportunity to take a look behind the medical scenes of the race track during guided tours of the Nürburgring's state-of-the-art Medical Centre. The number of participants is limited - registration is possible on site. Between 11:00 and 15:00, you can donate a little bit of your red blood to a good cause in the blood donor mobile. The Stefan Morsch Foundation will also be on site. Visitors will have the opportunity to register as potential stem cell donors and give new hope to leukaemia patients - a small moment on a beautiful day that can have a big impact afterwards. The emotional highlights follow in the afternoon: at 2.30 pm, Pastor Klaus Kohnz, Pastor Rüdiger Wink and Auxiliary Bishop Jörg Peters invite you to the traditional ecumenical service. A moment of reflection and thanksgiving, combined with the request for a safe journey at all times in the upcoming two-wheeler season. Immediately afterwards, at 3.30 pm, the unforgettable finale starts: the joint parade around the legendary Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. Thousands of motorbikes set off on the 20.832 kilometre long legendary Nordschleife - always an impressive sight.

The Nürburgring highlights in April

01.04.2025

Several dates at the Nürburgring in April are proving to be real visitor magnets. In addition to the well-known motorcycle season opener 'Anlassen' (April 27), thousands of ring fans are traditionally expected in the Eifel region over the entire Easter weekend (April 18-21). The exciting second race of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (April 26) is also taking place – an important test for many teams in preparation for the 24-hour race. The Nürburgring Drift Cup also starts its season on the same weekend (April 26th-27th). Classic car fans also get their money's worth in the fourth month of the year. The After Work Classics invites all owners of historic vehicles to the Grand Prix circuit for the first time in 2025 on April 22nd. A brief overview of the highlights: “Anlassen” motorcycle service | April 27Thousands of motorcyclists and their joint ride over the famous 20.832 kilometers of the Nordschleife: the two-wheeler parade at “Anlassen” is an extraordinary experience for the two-wheeler community every year. This year, the Nürburgring is once again inviting all motorcyclists to the season opener. On Sunday, April 27, thousands of bikers are expected in the Eifel again. From early morning, demonstrations, hands-on activities and various exhibitors will lure visitors to the paddock of the Ring before “Anlassen” reaches its climax: with a special two-wheeler church service and the joint convoy across the famous asphalt of the race track at the end. As every year, admission to the event is free. Easter weekend at the Nürburgring | April 18-21Four days of tourist trips in a row: Easter is traditionally also a celebration for Nürburgring enthusiasts. Both the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit are open to everyone from Good Friday to Easter Monday (April 18 to 21). Visitors can take to the legendary asphalt in their own vehicles all day long. The Easter tourist trips are a real magnet for visitors: thousands of automobile fans from all over the world usually flock to the Eifel for a short vacation during this weekend. And there is also plenty to discover off the track at the Nürburgring destination: driving fun for children and adults on the ring°kart track, family fun with historic racing cars in the ring°werk motorsport adventure museum, fascinating digital action in the Nürburgring eSports Bar – and maybe the Easter Bunny will even leave a little something for loved ones in the ring°fanshop. ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie | April 26Racing action on the legendary Nordschleife: The second race of the ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) this season will take place on Saturday, April 26, at the most demanding race track in the world. Many top teams have already announced their participation, as it is an important milestone for many of them before the 24-hour race in June. The key points of the NLS: More than 120 race cars at the same time – from the lightning-fast Ferrari GT3 to the production-based BMW – compete in a demanding race over four hours on the combination of the Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit. And the best thing about it is that fans get to be really close. The ticket (adults €25, children under 14 free) includes the paddock, the starting grid and access to the grandstands. Nürburgring Drift Cup | April 26 & 27It's not just since the Fast and Furious movies that car fans have known: perfect drifts are a fine art. Year after year, talented drifts from all over Europe come to the Nürburgring Drift Cup in the Müllenbachschleife. On the traditional section of the Grand Prix circuit, they compete against each other in direct duels in front of critical judges. The high-powered vehicles deliver a great sound backdrop and the pilots give everything for the perfect drift. The first date in 2025 is the last weekend in April, April 26-27, and will be held concurrently with the NürburgringLangstrecken-Serie and the motorcycle church service “Anlassen”. The first corner of the Nürburgring is now called RAVENOL-S

27.03.2025

RAVENOL and the Nürburgring are expanding their partnership. The renowned lubricant manufacturer has been involved with the world’s longest permanent racetrack for many years, and now both parties are taking their collaboration to the next level. Effective immediately, the prestigious first corner of the Grand Prix track will bear the name “RAVENOL-S.” Additionally, RAVENOL owns a VIP lounge at the Nürburgring, serves as the official lubricant partner of the Nürburgring Driving Academy, and lends its name to the “RAVENOL Media Center.” This extensive partnership will run until at least 2028. Spectators at motorsport events at the Nürburgring will now have their eyes on the RAVENOL-S. Located at the end of the start-finish straight, this tight corner marks the first braking point for drivers, setting the stage for thrilling overtaking maneuvers and intense battles for position. With this new naming agreement for the prestigious first corner, RAVENOL and the Nürburgring are deepening their relationship, making the globally active lubricant manufacturer from North Rhine-Westphalia even more present at the Ring. Since 2016, RAVENOL has been actively involved at the legendary racetrack and has continuously expanded its commitment. In addition to the RAVENOL-S, the company’s logo is prominently displayed on the pit wall, the pit building, and as part of a naming-rights agreement at the RAVENOL Media Center. Many participants in Nürburgring driving experiences – especially those in the popular formula courses – are also familiar with RAVENOL as a partner of the Nürburgring Driving Academy. Furthermore, the company holds one of the coveted VIP lounges directly above the pit lane, offering an unparalleled view of the track action in an exclusive atmosphere. “Our first corner is known to every motorsport fan as a guarantee for exciting racing. We are pleased to integrate our long-standing partner even further into this prominent location,” says Christian Stephani, Managing Director of the Nürburgring. “Our partnership with RAVENOL has been growing successfully for almost a decade, and it will continue at least until 2028.” “With partner racing series such as the NLS, DTM, and the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Race, the Nürburgring plays a vital role in our company’s motorsport season. The new RAVENOL-S, along with our presence on the pit wall and, most notably, at the highly visible RAVENOL Media Center, is yet another testament to the strong and long-standing partnership between RAVENOL and the Nürburgring,” adds Martin Huning, Director of RAVENOL Motorsport.

Nürburgring has a full calendar of events in 2025

12.03.2025

Ready for a full-throttle 2025: the engines will finally start up at the Nürburgring in March. And once again, the event calendar is full to bursting: 60 events make the Eifel race track a worthwhile destination for many good reasons well into the fall. Racing spectacle, festival summer, comedy evening or family outing: the Nürburgring will make hearts beat faster again this year. They belong to the Ring as much as the champagne shower on the podium: crowd-pullers such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours, the DTM, Rock am Ring, the Truck Grand Prix and the Oldtimer Grand Prix will once again attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Eifel this year. A fast-paced mix that includes around 60 public events between March and November alone. Major events alternate with hands-on motor sports and small after-work pleasures, such as the Nürburgring cycling and running club or the Afterwork Classics. One of the highlights will be the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. On the Corpus Christi weekend (June 19-22), well over 100 race cars will take on the ultimate challenge: 24 hours non-stop on the most demanding track in the world. A spectacle – also because of its passionate fans. Tens of thousands will be camping along the track, creating the unique atmosphere of the Ring. One new feature this year is a particularly family-friendly camping option in the new Family & Friends area. If you enjoy the thrilling and close racing on the Nordschleife, there are many other opportunities to experience racing action in the Green Hell throughout the year at the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series and the RCN circuit racing challenge. The International ADAC Truck Grand Prix is also a real experience. For decades, Germany's truckers have been celebrating Christmas with country music, camping and fast-paced racing. This year, the truckers will be on the loose from July 11 to 13. The traditional music festival has recently undergone a rejuvenation. The revamped Saturday evening program now features well-known party artists, and affordable single-day tickets are available for this event. Europe's most famous racing series, the DTM (August 8-10), will once again be a guest on the Nürburgring's sprint track – and will shine with a wide variety of brands, familiar faces and thrilling racing. Or how about a journey back in time to the last century of motorsport? With the Nürburgring Classic (June 13-15), the BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix (August 1-3) and the ADAC 1000 km race (September 20-21), three events are dedicated to historic racing cars. Indoor events from comedy to sportsThere will be plenty of laughter and celebration off the track this year: Comedian Carolin Kebekus will be making a guest appearance in the ring°arena in the fall (September 20) with her celebrated Shesus tour. NightWash Live will also be bringing stand-up comedy to the Nürburgring again this year, on November 15. And at Darts am Ring, some of the world's best dart throwers will transform the ring°arena into a madhouse together with many celebrating darts fans on March 29 – just like at the big role model, the Ally Pally. The Nürburgring Family Day on October 26 and the Job Fair on November 7 and 8 round off the indoor highlights. And because the Nürburgring is not just about watching, other hands-on events are looking forward to motivated participants. Whether on two wheels at Rad am Ring (July 18-20), on foot at the Hotfoot Run (May 10), or with the powerful Gargenschatz at GRIP - das Motorevent (July 6). Speaking of garage treasures: Numerous tourist driving days are planned again for all petrol heads, during which anyone can drive on the ring. The Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit will open their barriers on well over 100 days.

Nürburgring gives outlook on the 2025 annual calendar

04.09.2024

With the current season still in full swing at the Nürburgring, the race track and event location is already giving a preview of the coming year. From international highlights to event exotics and from motorsport to entertainment, the 2025 calendar once again promises the unique Nürburgring mix. A current overview: Exciting motorsport highlights in the Green HellNaturally, the world's longest permanent race track is also characterised by an attractive motorsport calendar in 2025. Particularly popular with fans: endurance motorsport on the Nordschleife. The highlight is the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, which will once again put man and machine to the ultimate test from 19 to 22 June 2025 and promise a gigantic motorsport party together with tens of thousands of fans. As usual, the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) will kick off the motorsport year. After the first race on 22 March, eight more race days will follow until October, each of which usually falls on a Saturday. Only on 13 and 14 September are two race days scheduled on one weekend for the NLS and therefore also the only race Sunday in the series. The dates of the Nürburgring Rundstrecken Challenge (RCN) are another Nordschleife format on the calendar. Regularity and performance tests offer popular sport from road-legal to race-ready vehicles. From GT3 to XXL: thrilling motorsport from racing cars to race trucksFans of thrilling motorsport will once again get their money's worth on the Grand Prix circuit. The giants of motorsport will compete against each other on the sprint version of the International ADAC Truck Grand Prix from 10 - 13 July. Every year, the event delights visitors with a family-friendly concept of motorsport, festival, colourful paddock and trade fair. Included in the supporting programme: the ADAC GT Masters. The Fanatec GT World Challenge (29 - 31 August) and the Porsche Sports Cup (30 May - 1 June) will feature high-quality racing cars from the world's best-known automotive brands. The Nürburgring Drift Cup, which will host its first round on 26 and 27 April, and GRIP - the motor event that will attract the tuning community to the Eifel on 6 July, are also high on horsepower and, above all, action-packed drifting. The date for the DTM at the Nürburgring has already been finalised. However, fans will have to wait a little longer before the announcement. The racing series will present its annual calendar in the coming days. Experiences with music and muscle powerAway from the roaring sounds of engines, powerful guitar riffs await at the beginning of June. Rock am Ring will get visitors' hearts racing from 6 to 8 June. According to the recently published first wave of bands, ‘Slipknot’ and ‘Bring me the Horizon’ have already been confirmed as headliners for the festival's 40th anniversary alongside other well-known bands. A similar-sounding event name, but with a completely different intention, can be found in the 2025 calendar with Rad am Ring. In mid-July, thousands of tireless participants will once again take to the start line to conquer the Green Hell with their own muscle power. Incidentally, this is also required for the Hotfoot Run - but not on two wheels, but on foot. The obstacle course takes place on 10 May. Fast-paced PS classics in racing actionThe heroes and automotive jewels of days gone by have also once again secured several permanent places on the Ring calendar. Old and youngtimers and memories of many decades of motorsport will be brought to life on the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife. The Nürburgring Classic will kick off 2025 from 13 to 15 June. This will be followed in August by the BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix (1st - 3rd) and the legendary ADAC 1000km race from 20th to 21st September. The ADAC RGB season finale, the ADAC Westfalen Trophy and, last but not least, the Kölner Kurs as a historic motorbike event round off the historic programme. Motorbike service and racing on two wheelsSpeaking of motorbikes: after returning to the Nürburgring this year, the International Motorcycle Championship (IDM) is also on the calendar for the coming season. From 5 to 7 September, the series will kick off with thrilling two-wheel racing. There will be impressive pictures of thousands of motorbikes off the racing line at the ‘Anlassen’ motorbike service on 27 April. One of the highlights of the programme: the joint parade around the legendary Nordschleife. Diverse indoor events: entertainment away from the racetrackThe Nürburgring also continues to see a steady increase in events away from the tarmac. And so the 2025 season in the Green Hell starts and ends with indoor events throughout the year. The International Rhine Shiai Karate Tournament will kick off the season on the second weekend in January, while the German Carnival Garda Dance Championship will be the event finale in December. Both events will take place in the ring°arena, as will two cheerleading competitions on 15 and 16 February and the ‘Darts am Ring’ gala in March. The latter is set to become the undisputed fan magnet in the indoor calendar with over 3,000 fans expected. The exact date for the flying darts event will be announced shortly. Further music and entertainment formats at the Nürburgring venues are also scheduled for next year. Comedy at NightWash live, the Nürburgring Family Day and a colourful afternoon at the Disney Channel cinema have been decided for 2025 and will soon be added to the calendar.

IDM: The Nürburgring weekend in review

03.09.2024

Lots of fog, no visibility and constantly changing schedules as a result. But the weather drama in the Eifel could not slow down the International German Motorcycle Championship (IDM) on its comeback at the Nürburgring. On two days, all classes spent hours in the fog and several training sessions were canceled. But when the veil lifted and even the sun made its way through the clouds, there was no stopping the drivers in the predicate and cup classes. It was all about the final spurt before the finale in Hockenheim in three weeks' time. In the top class IDM Superbike, Ilya Mikhalchik on a BMW took the title early. The Superbikes took to the track on Sunday in glorious conditions at the foot of the Nürburg. Was it going to be a dream day for 28-year-old BMW rider Ilya Mikhalchik to win the title early? His only remaining rival was defending Honda champion Florian Alt. However, after his disastrous crash two weeks ago in Assen, in which he suffered deep lacerations to his right hand, he had little hope of winning. But he was not going to give up without a fight. Only on the starting grid did he admit: “I'm in a lot of pain, but I'll give it a go.” Mikhalchik won the race after a fierce battle with his Estonian BMW colleague Hannes Soomer. Third place went to Toni Finsterbusch (BMW). On the podium were a Ukrainian, an Estonian and a German. Alt finished a brilliant fifth despite his damaged hand. In the second race, Mikhalchik had to finish in the top 13. The title was almost handed to him on a silver platter. All he had to do was grab it. After 18 laps over 3.618 kilometers, it was finally clear: The 28-year-old Ukrainian is IDM champion in the top class ahead of schedule and for the fourth time. Mikhalchik's partner Milana, mother Ludmilla, his aunt and even his grandmother had come to the Nürburgring to celebrate their personal superstar, who returned to the paddock for the award ceremony after his great triumph with the blue and yellow flag of Ukraine. He would have loved to crown his success with another victory, but this was snatched by Hannes Soomer. The Estonian entered the history books of the IDM Superbike as the new winner. An unleashed Lorenzo Zanetti, who caught his opponents one-two, finished third. The Italian slipped past Finsterbusch on his Ducati in the final laps and thus prevented BMW from taking all the positions, as in the first race. Florian Alt crossed the finish line in fifth place and had hellish pain in his hand. But that's Florian Alt: giving up is not an option. Twan Smits (Yamaha) won both races in the IDM Supersport. It is too late for the title fight, but the current runner-up showed that the competition must always reckon with him despite his mixed season. Dirk Geiger took two second places on his Honda, the best weekend result for the manufacturer to date. And “Lucky Luc” Luca Göttlicher had sprinted onto the podium in third place after the first race from eleventh on the grid.Championship leader Andreas Kofler (Yamaha) did not get a chance in the Eifel. He missed the start in the second race. This was unusual, as the Austrian is actually known for his lightning starts. The fact that Smits and Geiger were ahead of him didn't bother him much in terms of the overall standings, as neither of them play a role in the title fight. Kofler just had to make sure that his direct rival Luca de Vleeschauwer (Triumph) stayed behind him. And that was the case. Third place this time went to Daniel Blin (Ducati), but that was pure damage limitation. The Pole had crashed in the first race. The airbag in his leather suit deployed. Blin was able to leave the run-off zone physically unharmed. Statistically, however, the incident finally knocked him out of the title fight and Lennox Lehmann (Yamaha) also overtook him in the overall standings and is now third overall. The Freudenberg KTM-PALIGO Racing team-mates had a thrilling battle in the Supersport 300 at the Nürburgring. In the first race, Phillip Tonn continued his winning streak with a third triumph, which he had previously started with a double victory in Assen. The German seemed to have finally made his breakthrough, leaving Ruben Bijman and Oliver Svendsen in second and third place. However, Svendsen subsequently lost his podium place to Dutchman Dylan Czarkowski (Yamaha) due to a penalty and therefore finished fourth. In the second race, the Dane promptly responded to this setback and secured victory ahead of Bijman and Tonn. With this success, Svendsen extended his lead in the championship and heads to the final two races with a comfortable 30-point advantage.

For one day and one night, around 130 racing cars will engage in thrilling duels on the 25.3 kilometers of the Ring. They are cheered on by thousands of spectators. Many of them pitch their tents right next to the track and celebrate the biggest racing party of the year. It all starts on Corpus Christi Thursday (30 May) with qualifying sessions, races from other series and a large supporting program next to the track. The 24-hour race starts on Saturday (June 01) at 4 pm. Tickets for the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring are available online (orderable until May 17) or on site from as little as 34 euros. Nürburgring Classic (May 24 - 26)100 years of motorsport history will take to the track at the Nürburgring Classic from May 24 to 26. Fans can look forward to historic formula cars, pre-war racing cars and DTM touring cars from the 80s and 90s. Hundreds of these rare garage treasures are expected at the Nürburgring Classic, which takes place partly on the Nordschleife and mostly on the Grand Prix circuit. The drivers put the pedal to the metal in the 20 or so races, despite the often advanced age of the vehicles. A visit is also worthwhile because of the atmosphere next to the track. The ticket - from just 18 euros - always includes entry to the paddock. There, a Ferris wheel, live music and racing legends are waiting to be discovered. ADAC DMC Race Weekend (May 09 - 11) & Cologne circuit (May 12)Two motorcycle events in one go: with the ADAC DMC Race Weekend (May 9 to 11) and the Cologne circuit (May 12), the Grand Prix circuit will be dominated by sleek two-wheelers for one weekend. While modern machines conquer the Eifel circuit at the Race Weekend, racing motorcycles from past eras take to the track at the Cologne circuit. Large starting fields and challenging endurance races alternate with entertaining program items at the ADAC DMC Race Weekend. In the Scooter Cup, for example, iconic scooters do their laps on the Ring at two and four engine speeds. The sidecar teams at the Cologne circuit are also very popular. In addition to the acrobatic two-man motorcycles, spectators can look forward to many other historic racing machines on that Sunday. Day tickets (including paddock) cost 15 euros for the ADAC DMC Race Weekend and 10 euros for the Cologne circuit. Those wishing to attend both events are advised to purchase a discounted combined ticket.
